June Friends Meeting and Volunteer Opportunity
We are happy to be hosting the next Friends regular monthly meeting this Thursday, June 26th beginning at 4:15 pm in the Refuge Office (102 Walnut Street, Suite 205, Winona). Project COMPASS Picnic and Fishing Event – We are still looking for volunteers for this fun fishing and picnic event! It will be on Wednesday, June 25th at the Hiawatha Valley Marine Shelter on West Lake Winona from 4:30 pm to 6:15 pm, event starts at 5 pm. Please RSVP to me (stephanie_edeler@fws.gov or 608-769-4408) if you are able to volunteer. You don’t need to know how to fish to help out at this fun and wonderful event.
