July Friends Meeting and Volunteer Updates
We are happy to be hosting the next Friends regular monthly meeting this Thursday, July 25th beginning at 4:15 pm in the Refuge Office (102 Walnut Street, Suite 205, Winona). Thank you to the volunteers/Friends who helped with the tree planting event on July 2nd! It was very successful and the weather was nice for the planting.
Upcoming events to add to your calendar include a Project COMPASS fishing event on September 11th from 5 pm – 6:15 pm at the Huff Street Fishing Pier (by the Winona Visitor Center). Please contact Stephanie Edeler ([email protected]) if you are able to volunteer to help out with this wonderful event. You don’t even have to know how to fish to help out.
