Prairie Island Dike Cleanup

Friends and Volunteers, we would like to invite you to participate in a cleanup of the Prairie Island Dike in Winona from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 10. The dike will be divided into 1/2 mile sections with two people assigned to each section. Dress for the weather, wear gloves, bring a beverage and snack and anything else that makes you happy while picking up litter. We will supply the bags, litter pickup sticks, and hand sanitizer. 

Meet at the McNally Boat Landing (on the riverside of the dike just past the dog park if you are coming from Winona) to pick up your equipment and get your assigned section. There will be a port-a-potty available there as well. You can come anytime after 8:00 a.m. but give yourself enough time to finish your section before 11:00 a.m. and turn your gear back in.
