New Observation Dock Installed at Trempealeau Refuge
Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge has a new dock located at the Kieps Island boat launch, which was donated by the Trempealeau Refuge Friends group. Funds were generously donated to the group by the Bob Clark Family in memory of Judith Ann Clark. The dock was built as a wonderful place for visitors to observe migratory birds and enjoy the beauty of the refuge.
The dock is a perfect place to sit on benches and enjoy beautiful birds, wildlife, and breathtaking scenery. The side of the dock is helpful to launch canoes and kayaks for a paddle on our placid pools. Refuge regulations allow only electric motors in refuge pools. Grab your binoculars or fishing pole and come discover what you can see at our new dock!
